This is Me!
I am a published writer and blogger. I have not published a book (yet!), and I am not rich. There are plenty of writers who make more money than me. There are writers who are more talented than me. But I have learned a lot over the years about trying to make it as a freelance writer and business owner.
I want to pass that on to YOU.
My goal is to inspire other aspiring writers by being honest, open, and helpful. This site does contain my ramblings, but the focus is generally about freelance writing, life working online, entrepreneurship, and other creative inspiration. You will also find tips, techniques, and resources for writing.
As a writer, I have moved from a hobbyist to a professional writer, and this has been quite the journey. And it’s not over yet.
As you get to know me, you will see I am constantly working on improving my writing by reading books about the trade, taking courses, and getting advice from some of those I respect and admire. There will never be a time that I stop learning.
As I go through this, I tend to pass these experiences on to you.
I will make mistakes.
I will have bad days.
I will get writer’s block.
I will lack inspiration.
I AM human and currently a one person deal. So, I hope you can be patient on my not so good days.
I will NOT…
- lie
- be intentionally misleading
- pass on any get-rich quick products
- handle my blog or any business unethically
- sugar coat (most of the time)
- be a sales person (unless I believe in the product)
- only focus on MY needs
As a reader, you will be a part of my writing journey. There will be ups and downs, and even sideways detours, but you should gain some perspective as you follow me along the journey as a creative entrepreneur.
I truly want to help other writers, bloggers, and online marketers in whatever journey they are on. That is the underlying motive for most of my posts here. To share and inspire.

My writing may not always be inspiring, but it will always be truthful and authentic. I try to seek out inspiration to keep readers coming back for more. And to keep me in my Happy Place. But I may grumble here and there. It’s life.
